New Passport

A passport is an official government-issued document that serves as a form of identification and travel document for individuals who wish to travel internationally. It verifies the holder’s identity and nationality, allowing them to enter and exit foreign countries.

Passport Renewal

A passport's validity in India is 10 years. A person must renew the passport before the 10-year expiration date or soon after the validity expires if they want to keep using its privileges. A passport is frequently accepted as evidence of identification, place of residence, and age. Because it is used so often during one's life, a passport is absolutely necessary.

Passport Reissue

A Person can apply for a Re-issue of passport for the following reasons

  • Exhaustion of Pages , Validity Due to Expire
  • Validity Expired , Renewal of Short Validity Passport (SVP)
  • Lost/Stolen Passport , Damaged Passport
  • Change in Existing Personal Particulars like Change of Appearance, Change of Signature, Change of Name $, Change of Date of Birth, Addition/Change of Spouse's Name, Change of Address, Deletion of ECR, Change of Place of Birth, Change of Sex, Change of Parent's Name

Passport Surrender/ Renunciation

Under the Indian Citizenship Act, 1955, Persons of Indian Origin is NOT allowed DUAL Citizenship. If a person has ever held an Indian Passport and has obtained the Passport of another country, they will be required to surrender their Indian Passport immediately after gaining another Country’s nationality. It should be noted that it is illegal to continue to use an Indian passport after the renunciation of Indian citizenship and defaulters will be faced with penalties.
